The invention relates to a textile machine comprising a plurality of winding points (10.1-10.6) for winding a plurality of threads (11). Said winding points (10.1-10.6) are arranged above and next to each other along the longitudinal side of the machine. Auxiliary devices (22) are associated with the winding points (22) in order to carry out the change of bobbins, said auxiliary devices (22) comprising at least one thread suction means (16.1) per group of winding points (10.1-10.6), which leads the relevant threads (11) towards a thread waste container (28) via a line (24, 29) coupled to the thread suction means (16.1), during a change of bobbin in the winding points (10.1-10.6). The aim of the invention is to maintain the simplicity of the auxiliary devices (22) as far as possible. To this end, the thread suction means (16.1) is held in a mobile manner on the longitudinal side of the machine in order to receive the threads (11) of adjacent groups of winding points (10.1-10.6), such that the thread suction means (16.1) can operate on a plurality of groups of winding points (10.1-10.6).
