A sheet-metal structure cast en bloc is a steel/stainless steel bulkhead wall that is metallurgically bonded with a crankcase's cast metal and separates an area for an internal fluid-conducting device form an area for an external fluid-conducting device. A sand core has a thin-walled insert (10) with a projecting end. There are sand cores for inner (3) and outer (2) fluid-conducting devices. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A method for producing cast bodies of iron or aluminum base alloys with hollow functional spaces or fluid-conducting devices; (2) A method for producing cores with a thin-walled insert for inserting in a core-shooting tool used for core-shooting in foundry sand.
