<p>A snap fastening lid for a pressure cooker has the lid (3) located onto the flanged lip (8) of the cooking vessel via a shaped gasket (17) and secured onto the vessel by a spring system whose upper end is secured to one hand grip (5) and whose sloping side sections (1) are pressed down, or released, by a second sliding hand grip (6). The outer ends of the spring are hooked (7) to clip under the lip of the vessel when both hand grips are held together, and to release from the lip when one hand grip is pushed down.</p> |
