Vehicle door mechanics has a swiveling element (12) which is supported at the chassis (10) of the vehicle and by means of which a vehicle door (16) is outward or inward swiveled. The vehicle door can slide at the swiveling element by means of the sliding element (14). Independent claims are included for following: (1) Vehicle door e.g. side door of a vehicle; and (2) Vehicle.
