The cutting up unit (5) has a depressing channel (8) for dry ice particle, which has a structured surface (21). The structured surface neighbours to an output opening (11) of the depressing channel (8). The last 25 to 35 per cent of the depressing channel has the structured surface. The structured surface has a lattice structure.
