<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and reliably set appropriate time for immersion depending on a disinfectant to be used. <P>SOLUTION: A washing/disinfecting apparatus 2 for endoscopes is equipped with a drainage opening 19 for pouring the disinfectant into a disinfectant tank 42 for collecting the disinfectant, a special filling opening 55 which has a special container 56 with an attachable and detachable structure and is used to pour the disinfectant filling the special container 56 into the disinfectant tank 42, a filling detection sensor 58 to detect whether the disinfectant in the special container 56 fills or not, and a CPU to automatically vary the setting of the immersion time to immerse the endoscope in the disinfectant in the disinfecting process in accordance with a detected result by the filling detection sensor 58. Consequently, the washing/disinfecting apparatus 2 never bothers the user and prevents the use of the endoscope 30 without disinfecting sufficiently due to the mistake in setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
