PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To edit a layout of data by easy operation.

SOLUTION: This data processor acquires the data recorded in a medium, and decides whether template data defining the layout of the acquired data are associated to the data or not on the basis of whether an MPV print manifest is recorded or not (step S502). When it is decided that the template data are associated (step S502: Yes), the data processor generates printing data on the basis of the acquired data and the template data associated to the data (step S504), and prints an image, based on the generated printing data on a recorded member (step S505).
