PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect the configutation information of a network apparatus efficiently according to the state of a network and the state of the apparatus by preventing resources on the network from being wasted by preventing SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) manager from unnecessarily collect the information when collecting the configuration information by receiving a trap from the network equipment. SOLUTION: When an SNMP trap is received from the network equipment, a standby time before the configuration information is collected is set based upon the kind of the SNMP track and information on the network equipment as the transmission source and when the SNMP trap is received from the same network equipment in standby mode, the scheduled collecting time for constituting a network is set again, based on the standby time and configuration information on not only the network equipment sending the SNMP trap, but also circumferential network equipment in the same group is collected.
