A compact electrical power outlet system (10) includes a base (12), multiple electrical receptacles (20) adapted to receive an electrical plug, a power input (22) for receiving electrical power, and an electrical system including a power switch (24). A movable cover (26) mounted on a top surface (14) of the base (12) is adapted to cover the power switch (24).
