<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring maintaining sealing performance even when behavior is unstable. <P>SOLUTION: In this seal ring separated in one portion and having ends, recessed and projecting shapes formed in respective both end parts are constituted so as to be fitted to each other. In the fitting portion of the both end parts, a sliding face on which each of the end parts can be slid in the circumferential direction and a clearance capable of absorbing change in the peripheral length of the seal ring are formed.
