<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate drawing out and insertion of a photo conductor unit. <P>SOLUTION: When the operator turns the control lever 150 from the locking position to the releasing position, the photo conductor unit 100 becomes free to move in the direction of its rotating axis X for drawing it out. At the same time in linking with it, the primary transfer roll 60 moves to the retracting position, and the tension regulator roll 56 moves to the tension relaxing position. In other words, the operator can carry out the following three actions at the same time only by turning the lever 150 (in one action): making the photo conductor unit 100 free to move in the direction of its rotating axis X, moving the primary transfer roller 60 to the retracting position, and moving the tension regulator roll 56 to the tension relaxing position.
