<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic drive device wherein a driven body can be positioned and driven at a high resolution and vibration and noise in the entire ultrasonic drive device can be suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic drive device includes a transducer 3 that generates vibration when it is supplied with power; a holding member 17 fixed to the transducer 3; an elastic member 20 provided in the holding member 17; a biasing member 19 that energizes the transducer 3 toward the driven body 7 via the elastic member 20; and a supporting member 5 that supports the holding member 17.
