PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge in which a film can be fused to a frame without the film being shifted, and an enough strength can be secured in the whole frame, and to provide the frame. SOLUTION: Although a frame rim part 112 is formed like a flat sheet and is consequently weakened in strength, the strength is maintained by furnishing frame rib members 410-490. Strength of a frame body 110 is increased. Fusion of the film 1430 to the frame body 110 is carried out by pressing the film 1430 against the frame rim part 112 of the frame body 110. The film 1430 cannot be fused to a correct position if the frame rim part 112 is deflected. However, the frame rib members 410-490 are formed extending to almost the entirety of the frame body 110, so that the frame body 110 can is prevented from breaking, and the frame rim part 112 can be prevented from being deflected when the film 1430 is fused.
