PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens driving device equipped with a lead screw mechanism, which is constituted to suitably stop the runaway of a lens frame. SOLUTION: A lead screw 20 having a male screw part 20a is born by a wall part 10c and a supporting plate 18 through shaft parts 20b and 20c, and fixes an abutting member 22 having an abutting part 22a. A nut member 29 is attached to a first lens frame 25 having a cam part 25b, and its female screw part is screwed on the male screw part 20a. A stop member 32 is rotatably attached to the supporting plate 18. When the first lens frame 25 goes over a predetermined stop position and runs away to the supporting plate 18 side, the stop member 32 is rotated against the energizing force of a spring 33 by the cam part 25b, and its bent part 32b is made to face to the inside of the actuation locus of the abutting part 22a, whereby the rotation of the lead screw 20 is stopped.
