PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut opening preventive tool capable of preventing the proximity part of a nut from opening certainly once it is set on the nut in the mounted condition. SOLUTION: The nut opening preventive tool 5 to prevent the proximity part 6c of the nut 6 to be mounted on a bolt B from separating is equipped with an engagement part 1 to be engaged with the proximity part 6c for maintaining the proximity condition of two proximity parts 6c when they have approached each other, wherein the engagement part 1 is furnished above and below with recessed parts 1f to be engaged with the top 6ca and the bottom 6cb of the two proximity parts 6c in the proximity condition.
