PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cableway facility having a rotatable cableway transportation device capable of properly and angularly positioning and aligning a transportation device for the transportation and exchange of a passenger. SOLUTION: The transportation devices 3 are carried in their stations 1 along a guide rail 4, and after cutting off, they are connected to a hanging and towing cable 2 again. Subsequently, these transportation device can be rotated relative to a hanging rod 31 through a rotation base drive unit 36 around an approximately vertical axis. Further, detection devices 53, 54 are arranged in an area where the transportation devices enter the stations 1 and monitor rotation positions of the transportation devices when the transportation devices enter the stations through the detection devices.
