摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structural body for a railcar light in weight and causing little deformation by loads. SOLUTION: This structural body for the articulated-type railcar has a deck frame and a lateral groove body. The lateral groove body has a first exit/entrance opening and a second exit/entrance opening in sequence in a longitudinal direction from the edge side of the lateral groove body. The deck frame has a cap, a pair of side sills, and a middle sill. The cap extends in a width direction at the edge of the base frame. The pair of side sills are connected with a cap, respectively, and extend in the longitudinal direction. The middle sill extends in the longitudinal direction between the pair of side sills. The length in the length direction of the middle sill is shorter than lengths of the side sills. One edge of the middle sill is connected with the cap, and the other edge is located between a first surface which orthogonally crosses the longitudinal direction and goes along the center of an exit/entrance opening, and a second surface which orthogonally crosses the longitudinal direction and goes along a second exit/entrance opening on the first exit/entrance opening side.
