PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt edge chamfering device which grinds a vertical cross section of asphalt obliquely in a tapered state while keeping straight advance property. SOLUTION: A plurality of cutting bits 11a, 11b are protrudingly formed in an outer peripheral surface of a head-cut conical shaped rotary body 10 so as to form a head-cut conical shaped grinder 12. A small-diameter side of the head-cut conical shaped grinder 12 is directed downward and mounted on a lateral side of a traveling device which travels with four tires, and further the head-cut conical grinder 12 is connected with an engine 3. A diameter of the tire on the driving side which is positioned on the side of the head-cut conical shaped grinder 12 is formed larger than that of the tire on the other side, and a guide 30 which slides on the vertical cross section 7 of asphalt pavement is mounted forward of the head-cut conical shaped grinder 12.
