The invention relates to a method for operating a management system which comprises at least one manager (OMC) and one agent (NEl, NE2, NE3) and said manager (OMC) is provided with information containing plurality of information items for triggering, consisting in storing said information items for triggering in the manager (OMC) memory, in transmitting at least one information item for triggering by the manager (OMC) to the agents (NEl, NE2, NE3) in such a way that said information item for triggering effects at least one hardware unit (HWl, HW2, HW3, HW4) at said agent (NEl, NE2, NE3) and, afterwards in erasing or marking at least one information item for triggering in the manager (OMC) memory. The manager (OMC) and a computer program product for carrying out said method are also disclosed.
