A touch head for a push button, especially a switch, comprises a transparent carrier film (1) having an observable (2) display or symbol (3) on the rear side through a color layer on a base film (4). The base film is transparent and has a background coating (5) on its rear side. Preferably the background coating is reflective, translucent or trans-reflective and is formed by physical vapor deposition.
