PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication device with a reserve battery which has a function to be uninterrupted in power even when a reserve battery pack is removed.

SOLUTION: The mobile communication device with a reserve battery comprises: a mobile communication device having a first battery 13; and the reserve battery pack 30 which has a second battery 32 and is so structured as to be mounted and dismounted freely with respect to the mobile communication device. The reserve battery pack 30 includes a detector 34 for detecting whether the mobile communication device is locked to the reserve battery pack, while the mobile communication device includes a battery changeover circuit 12 which connects either the first battery 13 or the second battery 32 to a load 20 of the mobile communication device by monitoring at least the detection state of the detector 34.
