<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely connect power cable conductors with each other, even in a narrow work space, while securing tensile strength of cable, thus attaining shortening of the working time. <P>SOLUTION: The cable conductors 6, 7 which are exposed at edge portions of the pair of power cables 4, 5 are disposed so as to be butted against each other. Connection rings 110, 111 respectively having conductivity are fitted onto the edge portions 6a, 7a of the cable conductors 6, 7, and cleat members 130, 130 are inserted from the edge surfaces 6b, 7b side on the top end side. The cleat members 130, 130 are inserted in the edge parts 6a, 7a in the connection rings 110, 111 that expand the edge parts 6a, 7a of the conductors 6, 7 in the radial direction, thereby the edge portions are in a state of being abutted against the inner peripheral surfaces of the connection rings 110, 111.
