CARBON DIOXIDE ABSORBER AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING CARBON DIOXIDE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide absorber capable of efficiently absorbing carbon dioxide and keeping its high carbon dioxide absorption capacity even after its repeated use.

SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide absorber comprises lithium silicate and an absorption accelerator made of potassium carbonate and sodium carbonate at a potassium carbonate/sodium carbonate molar ratio of from 0.125 to 0.4, wherein the content of the above absorption accelerator relative to the aggregate amount of the above lithium silicate and the absorption accelerator ranges from 0.5 to 4.9 mole%.
