<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal that enables a user to freely play a melody in real time; and also to provide a music playing program executed by such a mobile terminal. <P>SOLUTION: When an infrared-light reception section receives reflected light reflected by a body held up to light emitted by an infrared-light emission section, the mobile terminal of the present invention detects the position of the body relative to the infrared-light emission section or infrared-light reception section based upon the received reflected light and generates pitch information corresponding to the detected position of the body by a pitch information generating means to generate a musical sound based upon the generated pitch information by a sounding means. Namely, the sounding means generates the musical sound having a pitch corresponding to the position of the body relative to the infrared-light emission section or infrared-light reception part. Consequently, a user holds up the body to the infrared light emitted by the infrared-light emission section to easily make the mobile terminal sound the musical sound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
