LIGHT-GUIDE PLATE, BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE LIGHT-GUIDE PLATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-guide plate capable of improving image display quality, a backlight assembly having the light-guide plate and a display device.

SOLUTION: The light-guide plate includes a plurality of prisms formed on a side of the light-guide plate and spaced apart from one another. Because the prisms are formed on the side of the light-guide plate and spaced apart from one another, the light-guide plate is prevented from emitting more light in a central portion than in an edge portion relatively. Therefore, luminance distribution is uniform and image display quality is improved.
