PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle navigation system having an antitheft function. SOLUTION: In the on-vehicle navigation system having an acceleration sensor 25 for detecting an acceleration, computing the current position based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor 25 and carrying out a route guidance reaching a destination based on the current position, an accessary power source ACC of a vehicle is supplied to a main unit (system main body) 10, and a theft sensing device 30 is provided, which senses an unusual vibration or impulsion acting on the main unit 10, based on the acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor 25 while the accessary power source ACC is turned off, and which makes the function of the main unit 10 unavailable when sensing the unusual vibration or impulsion.
