PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to immediately grasp an apparatus operable at present, even if a plurality of remotely controllable apparatuses each having the similar function are registered in a remote control device. SOLUTION: The disclosed remote control device can remotely control a plurality of apparatuses. This remote control device has a main body 1, liquid crystal panel 58 movably provided on the main body 1 and displaying a screen used for remotely controlling the plurality of apparatuses, blue LED 57a, red LED 57b, green LED 57c and yellow LED 57d. In this remote control device, a plurality of items of apparatus information corresponding to the plurality of apparatuses to be displayed on the liquid crystal panel 58 used for selecting an apparatus to be remotely controlled from among the plurality of apparatuses have a correspondence relation with the blue, red, green and yellow LEDs 57a, 57b, 57c and 57d, respectively.
