PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker provided with an edge joined with an outer circumference of a diaphragm wherein a bent is formed around a border of the joined part, which prevents deterioration in the strength, damages or the like and degrading of the acoustic characteristic even when a sound signal causing a large sound is given to the speaker. SOLUTION: The speaker 100 includes: the diaphragm 20; and the edge 21 whose inner circumferential edge is joined with the outer circumference part of the diaphragm 20 and whose outer edge is fitted to a speaker frame 10. The diaphragm 20 has a bent 202 around the border of an inner circumference side of the joined part 200 at which the edge 21 is joined, and a reinforcing part 30 for reinforcing the bent 202 is formed to the bent 202. Even when the sound signal causing a large sound volume is given to the speaker, various forces exerted to the bent 202 can be distributed and reduced so as to prevent occurrence of strength deterioration and occurrence of damages or the like.
