PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately transmit a facsimile document to a substantial transmission destination by controlling transmission destination information of facsimile documents by a database so as to ensure the correctness of transmission destination information, and controlling the utilizing state of the transmission destination information so as to be capable of surely preventing mistransmission. SOLUTION: In the facsimile mistransmission prevention system includes: terminals each for generating a facsimile transmission slip onto which the transmission destination information is described; facsimile machines each for transmitting the facsimile transmission slip with the transmission destination information described thereon together with a main text; and a center system 30 for controlling facsimile documents transmitted from the facsimile machines. The center system 30 includes a facsimile server 31, and the facsimile server 31 receives the facsimile documents transmitted from the facsimile machines, checks the transmission destination information and thereafter transmits the facsimile documents to transmission destinations.
