PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed wiring board incorporating an electronic component in which electrical connection of the electronic component can be made with high reliability without requiring a laser beam machining process, or the like. SOLUTION: The printed wiring board (1) comprises an electronic component (10), a substrate (20) for mounting the electronic component, a metal foil (60) provided oppositely to the substrate while holding the electronic component between and on which a wiring pattern is formed, an insulating resin layer (50) for securing the electronic component by filling the gap between the substrate and the metal foil, and a conductive protrusion member (40) provided on the metal foil side electrode of the electronic component wherein the conductive protrusion member penetrates the metal foil and the conductive protrusion member is connected electrically with the metal foil by a conductive bonding material (80).
