PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner using a pigment excellent in coloring power and heat resistance, and to provide a toner having excellent offset resistance, chargeability and storage property as well as favorable color developing property and transparency for an OHP. SOLUTION: The yellow toner is produced in an aqueous medium and comprises at least a binder resin, a colorant (I), a dispersant and a pigment derivative, wherein the dispersant is an acrylic copolymer having a N,N-di-substituted amino group and an acidic group in the main chain or a side chain, and the toner shows a shape factor SF-1 of 120 to 150 and SF-2 of 125 to 180.
