PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front fork capable of making a wall of a damper cylinder thin and simplifying finishing of a lower end face of the damper cylinder when the damper cylinder is arranged on a bottom of a tube at an axle side. SOLUTION: In the front fork 10, a bottom piece 51 is inserted into an inner periphery of a lower end of the damper cylinder 21, and the lower end of the damper cylinder 21 is caulked on an outer periphery of the bottom piece 51 in a crimped state. The lower surface of the bottom piece 51 is fastened on a bottom face of the tube at an axle side so that a bottom bolt 24 inserted into the bottom of the tube at an axle side from the outside is screwed with the bottom piece 51.
