PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum-ceramic joined substrate obtained by joining a member composed of an aluminum alloy containing silicon and boron to a ceramic substrate, in which the crystal grains of the aluminum alloy are refined, so as to increase grain boundaries and to suppress the precipitation of aluminum-boron compounds, thus etching can be satisfactorily performed, and also plating properties can be improved, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: Each aluminum alloy sheet 12 composed of an aluminum alloy having a composition comprising, by weight, 0.1 to 1.5% silicon and 0.02 to 0.1% boron, and further comprising any of 0.005 to 0.2% iron, one or more elements selected from the group consisting of zinc, copper, silver and magnesium by 0.005 to 0.3% and one or more elements selected from titanium, vanadium and manganese by 0.001 to 0.05% is joined to a ceramic substrate 10 by a molten metal joining process.
