PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road surface marker illumination device and a parking support device capable of easily and surely determining the positional relationship between a parking space and a vehicle in such a state that a driver gets on the vehicle. SOLUTION: The road surface marker illumination device 20 has a light emitting means 6a which is installed on the vehicle, and emits light toward the road surface around the vehicle, and an optical lens means 6b which changes incident light to linear light ray at a focus position by applying a variation to one axis direction with respect to the incident light. A linear line marker parallel to the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body or the width direction is radiated on the road surface by outputting a light ray emitted from the light emitting means 6a through the optical lens means 6b.
