PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen plate by which the film thickness and sharpness of the printed paste can be made suitable without relying upon the structure of a mesh member and the nature of the paste. SOLUTION: The screen plate 1 comprises the mesh member 11 and a pattern defining layer 17 secured to the same. One surface 17a of the pattern defining layer 17 is located in the range of the mesh thickness T of the mesh member and an ink flowing channel 19 is formed in the range of the mesh thickness. The pattern defining layer is a resist layer patterned by a photolithography method. Preferably, one surface of the pattern defining layer is located at the height of 3/4 or less of whole thickness of the mesh thickness. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
