PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental floss holder with improved retention of compositions. SOLUTION: A dental floss holder 20 includes a base portion 21, a pair of spaced-apart jaws 22, 23 extending from the base portion to accommodate a length of dental floss there-between and having at least one cavity 22A, 23A for loading a composition 22B, 23B containing flavor and/or a chemotherapeutic agent, and at least one flange for each cavity.
