<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a citrus fruit extract gargle which establishes Citrus sphaerocarpa as a gargle, especially suitably determines a method for extracting the peel of the Citrus sphaerocarpa and a method for compounding the extract, and can always suitably be used by anyone at any place as a household medicine similar to Chinese herb medicine. <P>SOLUTION: This citrus fruit extract gargle is characterized by mixing a Citrus sphaerocarpa extract obtained by immersing the peels of the Citrus sphaerocarpa in ethyl alcohol with an equivalent amount of a Citrus natsudaidai extract similarly obtained by immersing the peels of the Citrus natsudaidai in ethyl alcohol.
