<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small fuel cell capable of effectively preventing excess drying of an MEA by fan blasting of air to a cathode and having high performance, and to provide a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is equipped with a container 2 having an opening 21 in at least two portions, a power generation part 3 housed in the container and having a membrane electrode assembly 4, an anode passage plate 5, and a cathode passage plate 6, and a fan 16 for supplying oxygen from one side of the opening 21 of the container to the membrane electrode assembly, the cathode passage plate 6 is installed so as to have a gap to the container 2, and an opening 21 communicating with a space 60 formed to the membrane electrode assembly 4 on a surface different from a surface facing the fan 16 and the gap 60 is installed in the cathode passage plate 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
