<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the paper sheet spacing from being less than the predetermined lower limit value and preventing occurrence of jamming by adjusting an adjustment range of a paper sheet conveyance parameter such as the start timing of a resist roller. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming means comprises a container conveying means 59 for conveying a paper sheet P based on the paper sheet conveyance parameter, an image input means 3, a detection means for detecting the paper sheet spacing of the image forming means 10, and a control means for limiting the adjustment range of the paper sheet conveying parameter based on the result of detection of the paper sheet spacing. For example, in a device in which the adjustment range of the resist roller start timing is 0 to ±200 msec, if the paper sheet spacing of 60 msec must be maintained even when the adjustment value is maximized, the upper limit of the adjustment value is changed to be 70 msec if the minimum paper sheet spacing is 130 msec as a result of the test print at the adjustment value of 0, the adjustment range of the resist roller start timing is -200 to +70 msec. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
