PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized biosensor in which electrodes are formed on one electrical insulative substrate, these electrodes are two- or three-dimensionally aligned by solidly processing one flat surface substrate so that the electrodes may be arranged inside the substrate to enable quantitative measurement, even in narrow area, aimed at manufacturing of low-cost biosensor having a simple structure and fewer production processes suitable for mass production.
SOLUTION: This sensor has its one end comprising a laminating structured or cylindrical sample liquid feed section, while the other end comprises a connecting section to measuring instrument of electrode terminal. The sample liquid is transferred by capillary phenomenon, laminated internal section or cylindrical section of the sensor is filled with the sample liquid, a specific component of the sample liquid is identified by the electrode installed in sample feed channel or molecular recognition element, and then the chemical or physical information of the sample is quantitatively measured by the measuring instrument connected via electrode. Additionally, DNA chip can also be configured as an extension of this technique.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
