<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a new laid pipe to be in branching connection with an existing pipe at a low execution cost, without impairing the strength of a hot fusion attaching part between a branching pipe fitting and the existing pipe. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe connecting method to make branching connection of the part for connection of the new laid pipe with the existing pipe applies in such an arrangement that the existing pipe B made of thermoplastic resin is exposed by excavating a pit 2 and the new laid pipe A made of thermoplastic resin is laid underground, using an elbow pipe fitting furnished with a connection part made of thermoplastic resin able to be attached in hot fusion by heating with electricity fed and the branching pipe fitting D, whereby the new laid pipe is laid underground in non open cut process, and the elbow pipe fitting and the branching pipe fitting are installed on the ground in the part for connection in such a way as capable of relative rotation round the axis of their mutual connection part, and a fixture 3 is fitted there which can keep the installed condition and is removable through remote control from on the ground, and after the part for connection is drawn into the pit and the connection part of the branching pipe fitting is subjected to hot fusion attachment with electricity fed while the part is pressed to the existing pipe through the remote control made from upon the ground, the fixture is removed through remote control from upon the ground and recovered on the ground. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
