PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire lost packet data even when the packet data from a broadcasting satellite are lost because of a reception state and then to reduce influence on display etc., as far as possible. SOLUTION: The XM satellite receiver 13 of a satellite broadcasting data reception system 10 is equipped with a satellite reception part 25 and a decoder part 26 which receive a broadcast radio wave from an artificial satellite 12 and output received data, a memory 27 which stores the received data, an error processing part 28 and an external connection part 30 which acquire error-correction disabled reception data among the reception data from external servers 17 and 20 through a communication network, and a correction processing part 31 which updates error-correction disabled reception data stored in the memory 27 as received data having already be acquired.
