<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for cables that facilitates coupling operation. <P>SOLUTION: The protective cover includes a cylindrical cover body, into which a messenger wire and a cable installed along the messenger wire are inserted along its axial line from end to end. Assembling holes 3A, 3B, 3C are formed in fin pieces 2, 2 erected from both the ends of the cover body 1. The protective cover is so constructed that a fastener is fit in the assembling holes to fasten the fin pieces together. The first, second, and third assembling holes 3A, 3B, 3C are provided in the fin piece 2, in this order from an end edge in the direction of the axial line. Anchoring pieces 5, 5 respectively detachably fit into the second and third assembling holes 3B, 3C, at the same time, are formed along with the fasteners 4. The first assembling hole 3A is provided at such a position that the distance between it and the first assembling hole 3A, formed in the fin portions of another protective cover for cables to be coupled with the relevant protective cover, agrees with the distance between the second and third assembling holes 3B, 3C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
