<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front photographing apparatus capable of setting a photographing condition optimum for the surrounding of an object even when the position of the object is changed and setting the photographing condition optimum for a state of the object to be photographed. <P>SOLUTION: A laser radar 12 detects an obstacle in front of an automobile. A signal processing section 15 obtains a displacement vector of the obstacle for an operating time of one frame of the laser radar 12. A camera control section 16 predicts an existing position of the obstacle in a next frame on the basis of the displacement vector of the obstacle to set a photographing condition area. A camera 11 executes auxiliary photographing, and image processing section 17 obtains a luminance histogram in the photographing condition area. The camera control section 16 adjusts the lightness of the camera 11 so that the average of the luminance values in the photographing condition area becomes the center of the histogram, and adjusts the contrast of the camera 11 so that the variance of the luminance values may uniformly spread over the histogram. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
