PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the step out of a stepping motor by controlling the stepping motor, while correcting the slippage of pulse waveform each time. SOLUTION: In the interruption by a central control circuit, when either of two-phase pulses is actuallly started (YES in S1), the central control circuit computes (S2) the time lag between the timing of the relevant pulses that is actually started and the ideal timing being set as the start-up timing of the relevant pulse in a timer counter registor, and the central control circuit corrects the timer value set as the start-up timing of the relevant pulse in a compare registor by this time lag, whereby it sets the formation timing of the next pulse following this pulse in the compare registor in accurate timing just like the essential ideal pulse formation timing (S3).
