PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a plastic lens extremely reduced in the occurrence of a stria even in a case that the volume and weight per one lens is large. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of the plastic lens, the viscosity of a monomer composition containing a polyisocyanate compound, a polythiol compound and an epithio compound is preliminarily increased to 100-1,000 mPa s (15°C) and the thickened monomer composition is subsequently polymerized.
