PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting member for a peduncle receiver easily disposed at an appropriate place, and making a peduncle more hardly break than a conventional one. SOLUTION: The supporting member for a peduncle receiver is provided with the following: a pair of leg parts 2, 3 respective rear anchor parts 22a, 32a of which are stuck into culture media charged into a cultivation container at prescribed intervals to use while making tip end parts 21a, 31a of the leg parts project to the outward of the side wall of the cultivation container; and first and second engagement parts 4, 5 connected to the tip end parts 21a, 31a of the respective leg parts 2, 3. The supporting member can be disposed only through sticking the rear anchor parts 22a, 32a of a pair of the leg parts 2, 3 into the culture media so that any other specific supporting mechanism is not required to be given to the cultivation container or the leg part material, attaching/detaching operation is extremely facilitated, and an attachment position or the number of attachment can be optionally set up. Such a structure makes it possible to dispose any desired number of pieces at any required place and only in a required term. The supporting member can be stably arranged even though it is singly stuck into the culture media because the rear anchor parts 22a, 32a of a pair of the leg parts 2, 3 are separately disposed at prescribed intervals.
