PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component having low eddy current loss caused due to a fact that a leakage magnetic flux passes through a winding. SOLUTION: The coil component 1 is provided with a frame core 2, winding core 3, winding 4, electrodes 21, 22 and insulated spacer 52. The frame core 2 is a box-like core in which the cross section of two opposing side surfaces 25, 26 forming an opening is a square-shape. The winding core 3 is arranged inside the frame core 2, and provided differently from the frame core 2. The winding 4 is wound around the circumferential surface of the winding core 3. The electrodes 21, 22 are formed on both ends of a conductor wire forming the winding 4. The insulated spacer 52 is provided so as to oppose at least one end surface of an axial direction of the winding core 3 inside the frame core 2. A magnetic gap is formed between surfaces on both ends in the axial direction of the frame core 2 and the winding core 3.
