PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction element of a solenoid-operated valve which can be kept low in material cost, processing cost, and assembling cost and can be manufactured at a relatively low cost without any deterioration in quality. SOLUTION: The main body 11 of the suction element which is formed by metal injection molding or the like is formed with an annular groove 12 corresponding to the shape of a shading coil 20 to be obtained. The material 21 of the shading coil composed of a low melting-point metal material is poured in a molten state into the annular groove 12, and integrated with the main body 11 of the suction element.
