PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conductive paste sintered at a temperature lower than that of a conventional one, in particular, at a temperature around 150°C, and capable of reducing resistance. SOLUTION: This conductive paste is prepared by dispersing metal ultrafine particles in an organic solvent. The metal ultrafine particles are synthesized by irradiating, with microwaves, a solution prepared by dissolving or dispersing, in a synthesizing organic solvent, a metal salt represented by (R-A)<SB>n</SB>-M (wherein R is a 4C-9C hydrocarbon group; A is COO, OSO<SB>3</SB>, SO<SB>3</SB>or OPO<SB>3</SB>; M is silver, gold or platinum; and n is the valence of M). Each metal ultrafine particle has a metal core formed of a metal constituent derived from the metal salt and an organic constituent derived from the metal salt and covering the circumference of the metal core.
